My first full-time graphic design position was for the Enrollment Marketing department at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. I designed a variety of print & digital graphics that showcase the university to prospective students and to congratulate the 1,600+ students who were admitted to the university for the 2021 & 2022 academic years.
When I was first hired, Pacific was rolling out a new visual brand that contained many bright colors and dynamic shapes. I inherited brand standards that were heavy on web guidelines but lacked print guidelines, so I was responsible for future Pacific print materials featuring the new branding. I was also given the creative freedom to create fun internal graphics for students already at the university.
During this position, I had the privilege of working with an in-house team of designers & photographers on a wide variety of print items such as stickers, college viewbooks, & foldout brochures. Some cooler projects included banners that grew taller than me, folders & boxes that got sent out all over the world, and my very first scoreboard graphics!
In September 2025, I was brought back to Pacific in a freelance setting through a partnership with the university's Strategic Communications department. My first freelance task was to create a series of animations—based on the Homecoming style guide—advertising various events during the 2025 Homecoming weekend.
