|| GETTING TO KNOW YOU WHAT DO YOU DO, AND HOW CAN I HELP?
Before we start the project, you and I have a conversation about what your business or organization does so that I have an understanding of what my designs will do for you. This is where we decide on a budget, timelines, and what you would like me to create for you.
|| RESEARCH GETTING INSPIRATION FOR YOUR UNIQUE DESIGN
A creative brief from you informs me of what you want your design to communicate and a design direction for me to pursue. I then research other similar businesses and organizations to see what logos they use, and I research how other designers interpret your overall design ideas.
|| PAPER SKETCHES THE MOST FLEXIBLE PART OF THE PROCESS
After research, I come to you with a variety of different design concepts that fit with your creative brief, which we then whittle down into two or three of your favorite concepts. Revisions are the easiest during this stage, so don't be afraid to be vocal about what's working in a concept and what is not.
|| DIGITAL REVISIONS WHERE THE SKETCHES TURN INTO PRETTY GRAPHICS
This is the longest part of the process, regardless of the complexity of your project. This is where I pull together my research and the sketches into a polished graphic while experimenting with various colors and typefaces. After putting together the fundamental elements, I send you a progress shot of what I'm doing and ask for revisions before I work on the finer details. This cycle continues for one or two more rounds of revisions.
|| FINAL DELIVERABLES GOOD TO GO!
Once I make a design that you and I are both satisfied with, the files are good to go! This is where you and I discuss the logistics of the payment; I accept PayPal and Zelle, though I'll be just as good with a physical check! Once the payment details are settled, I send a ZIP folder of your files your way, and the project is pretty much complete!
