In April 2021, I started my first full-time position as the Graphic Designer for the Strategic Enrollment department at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. I was responsible for creating graphics that showcase the university to prospective students and congratulate students that have been admitted to the university.
When I was hired, Pacific had just come off of rolling out a new visual brand. I inherited brand guidelines that were heavy on web guidelines but lacking on the print guidelines, so I was responsible for setting the precedent for future Pacific print materials featuring the new branding. In addition to implementing the brand guidelines to external-facing materials, I was also given the creative freedom to create fun internal graphics for students already in the university.
