In the summer of 2021, I was approached by Quinnolyn Benson-Yates to create graphics for a documentary she directed called Epic Bill. This film highlights a man who embarks on various extreme endurance events, such as a cold-weather endurance race in Minnesota and climbing the highest peak in South America.
First, I worked with the team to create marketing posters for the film. I created a vector poster from scratch, and I also inherited some photorealistic posters that I would place typography over.
I then worked with the team to make graphics for the film's VFX maps. I painstakingly traced various topographic maps to make vector graphics that would then be 3D modeled by my collaborators.
